KOBE MURAL

Why did we decide to commission a Kobe Mural for the side of the building?

We wanted to provide the community, friends, family and fans a place to remember the nine lives that were lost on January 26, 2020. The passengers of the helicopter crash all lived in Orange County and while Kobe is loved by the City of Los Angeles, his home was in Orange County. From there, ASHE collaborated with three talented artists to design a 90-foot mural to pay tribute to Kobe’s legacy and honor all the victims involved. Every piece of the mural was meaningful and our hope was to show the families of the victims that they will all be forever in our hearts.
